Why is Revival fire to Richmond Ky so important to us here at Revival House Church?
well, 1st of all, it says it in our name, right? And to us that’s not just a gemic or a cliche. It’s exactly what God himself named this particular Body of Christ and I know it was for a good reason.
As God directed Donna and I to step out and fulfill the calling that has been on our lives for so long, you could look at circumstances and our carnal mind would say it was bad timing.
That couldn’t be any further from the truth.
You see, God’s timing is not always convenient to the flesh, in fact it rarely is.
So, like I was saying, circumstances such as being stricken with a seemingly incurable disease as the doctors diagnosed me at the time God was calling us, close friends turning their backs on us who supported us for years, not to mention, no building or equipment to even have a place to hold service.
You could say, just have Church at home as many are doing now and that does usually work out well, except we have a huge parking issue at our house and usually can only accommodate one extra vehicle in our yard.
Regardless, when God said Go, we went.
One evening while listening to the voice of the Lord, he undoubtedly pointed to the name Revival House and then confirmed it through more than one avenue.
Heart For Revival in Richmond KY
I love to boldly state that we are not your normal Church in Richmond Ky. even before we stepped out to pastor, Donna and I have always had a heart for revival.
I’m talking about true revival, not just putting a sign up and having an event called revival where we advertise an evangelist, worship music and try to “have” revival.
You have to have an understanding that we don’t just simply have revival but we see true revival when God sees an unrelenting heart to see Him and his presence manifested in a miraculous way.
Prayer, fasting, repentance and the hunger to have and encounter with the Holy Spirit are just some of what sparks true revival.
There really is no certain formula but coming in one mind and one accord as they did on the day of Pentecost.
God spoke to me and I promised him I would never name an event Revival but I could have as many calls to revival’s as I wanted and I would only say “this is revival” when it truly hits.
I have been to many gatherings called revival and not seen revival at those events… I have also been to events with less than any name and seen revival break out in an amazing way.
God is searching the Earth for hearts after Him, for a people with no other agenda except to see and feel his presence!
How about you? Do you have an overwhelming hunger and desire to have THE encounter with God like you never had before.
Or are you just going through the motions of attending Church because it’s the right thing to do?
I can’t stress enough how much I want to see Revival fire in Richmond KY at Revival House Church. That’s all.
With Love,
Pastor Brandon Robbins
